Casiotone for the Painfully Invisible

By Tamara Palmer

Published on July 23, 2008

If the Casiotone-and-guitar-laden dance pop on the Black Ghosts' debut doesn't sound like the work of newcomers, it's because members Theo Keating and Simon Lord hail from popular U.K .groups the Wiseguys and Simian, respectively. That clout helped these Ghosts get the seasoned Damon Albarn to guest star on catchy single "Repetition Kills You." The duo comes here as part of a spooky bill that includes New York's disco-leaning producers/remixers Holy Ghost!
